THE PRODUCT RELEASES OF 2011 (December 2011)

2011 has seen the launch of some of our very best interface products to date, which have been evaluated and selected for some of the biggest projects in the broadcast industry. Here’s a reminder of those products...

Safe Switch 3G and Safe Switch-L 3G
Available in two versions depending on the number of outputs and bi-directional GPIs you require, Safe Switch 3G is the way to guarantee a clean switch – with a full framestore synchroniser on each input allowing it to correct for any timing difference between the two inputs which gives a disruption-free output picture.

Up-Down-AT 3G and Up-Down-ATX 3G
Up-Down 3G is the up/down/cross converter with the picture quality that broadcasters standardise on, plus the ability to perform two different conversions simultaneously. The Up-Down-AT 3G and Up-Down-ATX 3G versions brought audio routing, transport of teletext and closed captions, and timecode conversion to the range.

Up-Down-S 3G range
Crystal Vision released four synchronising versions of its up/down/cross converter – the Up-Down-AS 3G, Up-Down-AFDS 3G, Up-Down-ATS 3G and Up-Down-ATXS 3G. With their exceptional picture quality and two downstream synchronisers, you get a clean output in two different formats even when the input standard changes.

Q-Down-AG 3G and Q-Down-ATG 3G
There were two new versions of the Q-Down down converter – Q-Down-AG 3G and Q-Down-ATG 3G – which combine a unique level of quality in their price range with a short processing delay to keep everything in sync, as well as flexible analogue and digital outputs.

SYNNER-E 3G
The SYNNER-E 3G multi-functional synchroniser is the ultimate device for all embedding, de-embedding and timing requirements – and includes integrated fibre I/O connectivity, delay compensation and very special Dolby E processing.

AVDELAY 3G
The AVDELAY 3G audio/video delay is perfect for correcting large lip-sync errors using a single board: the relative audio/video timing can be changed by several seconds in either direction, with independently adjustable video and audio delay.

ARC-20MC
ARC-20MC has all the features that make it suitable for every aspect ratio conversion application, with superb picture quality, customised conversions and time-saving presets, full AFD functionality and the ability to change the aspect ratio live on air.

CoCo 3G
The CoCo 3G colour corrector and legaliser includes independent RGB gain, lift and gamma adjustments, has advanced correction for gamut errors and supports 25 different video standards.
