MAGYAR TELEVISION SELECTS CRYSTAL VISION FOR SPORT (March 2004)

Crystal Vision started the year as it means to go on with a large order from Magyar Television in Hungary.

The Hungarian national broadcaster was impressed by the flexibility and comprehensive functionality of Crystal Vision's products and chose them after considering several manufacturers.

Magyar Television hoped to have the equipment in time to allow them to broadcast the European Figure Skating Championships, which were taking place in Budapest from the 2nd of February 2004. Crystal Vision was able to supply the goods to an extremely short timescale to allow them to do this.

After the ice skating, and the main reason for ordering the equipment, was the IAAF World Indoor Athletics Championships between 5-7th March, which Magyar Television was going to broadcast.

Although the snow which disrupted Britain threatened to delay the order when the courier couldn't pick it up, Crystal Vision's Managing Director battled against the weather to deliver it to the airport himself.

The order included 12 TANDEM-110s, six ENC116s, four DEC103Ss, six ADC104Fs, eight SYN102s and 16 Demons with Statesman for control. The boards will be housed in eight Indigo 2S and six Indigo 1S frames.
