FRX 3G fibre optic to 3G/HD/SD receiver
 
The FRX 3G is a dual channel fibre optic to 3Gb/s, HD or SD receiver. It works with both multi-mode and single-mode fibre and receives 3Gb/s, High Definition or Standard Definition signals which have been transmitted over large distances.

The FRX 3G fibre optic receiver has been designed to receive 3Gb/s, HD or SD signals which have been transmitted over large distances in a robust, reliable and space-saving way. This dual channel module brings financial and rack space savings with up to 24 channels possible in a 2U frame.
MAIN FEATURES
Dual channel fibre optic receiver
Works with 3Gb/s, HD and Standard Definition
Receives digital signals (with embedded audio) which have been sent over long distances via fibre
Ideal for moving signals in large installations or between OB vehicles
Easy to use it with Crystal Vision's interface, keying and picture storage modules: fits in standard frames
Can be used with FTX-L 3G 3G/HD/SD to fibre transmitter
Dual channel board - get up to 24 channels of fibre in 2U!
Two independent optical inputs, each with two reclocked 3Gb/s, HD or SD outputs - meaning it doubles as a distribution amplifier
Meets the SMPTE 297-2006 specification, allowing operation with single-mode and multi-mode fibre
Passes all 3Gb/s, HD, SD signals transparently, including pathological signals
Space-saving: 100mm x 266mm module allows 12 FRX 3G in 2U (24 in 4U, six in 1U and two in desk top box)
Flexible status monitoring: frame active front panel, Ethernet control panel, SNMP or PC software
