Crystal Vision is a supplier of video processing equipment for the television industry, based five miles south of Cambridge.

An opportunity has arisen for an accurate, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our team as Financial Manager. In this small company the role combines taking ownership of the financial systems as well as being prepared to process transactions and communicate with customers, suppliers and non-financial colleagues.

The role is office based and full-time (37.5 hours per week).

Essential requirements:

  • Knowledge of accounting ledgers, with the ability to produce management information
  • Ability to supervise the staff responsible for sales order processing
  • Ability to develop Excel spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with a modern accounting package - ideally, but not necessarily, Exchequer
  • Prepared to process routine transactions
  • Ability to communicate with customers, suppliers, non-financial colleagues and third parties
  • Experience of using a payroll package

Additional experience that would be useful:

  • Ability to develop and modify Access databases
  • HR administration
  • Experience of accounting for a manufacturing entity

Salary: £45K p.a.
