Distribute AES audio (or Word Clock reference) anywhere
The DADA208N is a dual digital audio distribution amplifier with non-reclocked outputs, ideal for use in all broadcast areas where AES signals need to be distributed.
This cost-effective distribution amplifier should be used for applications where the quality of the AES is known. With its zero delay it is particularly ideal for distributing Word Clock reference.
Use it as a dual channel or single channel device
It has two stereo feeds in and up to four outputs of each channel, or can alternatively be configured to have one input and up to eight outputs.
When used as a dual channel device, it can fit up to 24 channels in 2U.
Eight rear modules for flexible outputs
The DADA208N can be used with seven different frame rear modules to obtain just the output configuration you need.
For 75 ohm audio...
- The RM01 gives two outputs of each channel
- The RM02 gives three outputs of the first channel and four of the second
- The RM16 gives four outputs of each channel with an AES loop-through of the first.
For 110 ohm audio...
- The RM03 gives four outputs of each channel
For impedance conversion...
- The RM12 gives two 75 ohm inputs and four 110 ohm outputs of each channel
- The RM13 gives two 110 ohm inputs and three 75 ohm outputs of each channel
- The RM21 gives two 110 ohm inputs and two 75 ohm outputs of each channel.
Save rack space
The 100mm x 266mm module fits in Crystal Vision's Indigo rack frames alongside any other Indigo products, allowing 12 boards in 2U, six in 1U or two in a desk top box.
The DADA208N offers manual control and has both GPI and board edge indication of input present.
Crystal Vision offers the choice of three digital audio distribution amplifiers in the Indigo range, with options including reclocked and non-reclocked outputs, BNC and D-Type connections, impedance conversion and the ability to incorporate delays.

What outputs do I get?
Signal inputs and outputs are accessed by using an appropriate rear module.
The Indigo rear modules slot on to the back of the frame and typically feature BNC, D-Type, RJ45 and optical connectors. The single and double slot rear modules can be used with all three frame sizes, while the quad slot rear modules just fit the 2U frames.
There are seven rear modules available for the DADA208N...
